Information patients can use
Patients and families need understandable information about new technologies, including their limitations and the difference between research and routine clinical care.
Understanding referral pathways
Access depends on individual clinical assessment, the services available and the rules of the relevant healthcare system. The right starting point for an individual question is the treating clinical team.
Our role
NAHPA aims to support awareness and dialogue about access. We do not assess eligibility, provide referrals, arrange treatment or promise that a technology is available in a particular country.
